The day has finally come when my book Sustainable IT Playbook for Technology Leaders has become generally available. The original launch date was set to November 1st, but due to the high interest in the book, my publisher Packt Publishing decided to release it two weeks in advance. Thank you, Shweta Bairoliya, Uzma Sheerin, Deeksha Thakkar, Kinnari Chohan, Rayyan Khan, Deepak Kumar, Marta Muñoz Méndez-Villamil and the whole team at Packt for making this happen.
As I now unveil this book into the world, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for having reached the end of this journey. I have never aspired to be a writer, and I set out to write this book with one primary objective: to relay my knowledge and experience on sustainable IT in a simple format for other technology leaders worldwide to do the same and start their own sustainable IT journey.
As a technology leader and sustainability advocate, I strongly believe that we can be part of a positive impact and inspire others to act.
I have one wish as you read this book that you, please use it to educate, inspire and activate others to use the power of business as a platform for change. Together, I am determined that we can collectively curb the climate crisis and shift our disposable way of living to a regenerative ecosystem that positively impacts our planet for generations to come. 🌍
